Order Directly from Jostens and Save

The cheapest, easiest and most error-free way to place your order is online. Also, this is the only way to order your yearbook using a credit card. In fact, this is the way we would prefer you purchase your book.

Jostens has set up a website that allows you to order direct. The purchase credits toward the cost of publishing the book and enters your order directly into their system. Purchases made at the Fort require student entry. And while we are very vigilant about this process, no process is perfect.

So, in a sense, this is the safest way to order, as you can be certain your order is in the system exactly how you want it.

There is, however, a shorter time-frame for ordering. Once the system is set up at the beginning of each school year, you have only until late January to place your order. So typically you can order online from late August/early September until February.

Finally, ordering online after registration is the cheapest way to order your book. We keep the price at the registration price of $60 as an incentive for you to buy online. If you purchase your book at the school after registration, the price will rise (see this explanation)

It saves us the work of entering the information, and we can rest assured knowing the online orders are correct. That is worth the discounted price to us!

While we encourage you to purchase online here, we will accept payment in room 109 at any time.

For the 2009-2010 school year, the cost during registration will remain $60. The cost after registration will be $65. The price will remain at that level until early February, when we have to submit our order to Jostens. We always buy extras for those who have not pre-ordered in time. The price from February to the first of April will be $70. If books still remain, we will sell them at the signing party (near the end of April). The price at that time, and while supplies last, will remain $80. Save money and help us order the right number by ordering early. (NOTE: the price when ordering online from Jostens, remains at $60 through early February when we have to place our order.)

We are only able to accept cash or checks. Make checks out to FDHS. Please put your student’s name on the “For” line of the check.

Every year during registration (fact and fees day), you have the opportunity to purchase your student(s) a yearbook. All you have to do is tell the person assisting you to mark it on your form. The cost during registration is discounted to $60; any time after registration, the price is higher. At this time, you will have to pay cash or write a check; credit cards are not accepted.
